blue flower pressed box and perfume bottle set
In superb
condition, this lovely blue pressed powder/trinket box and perfume bottle
set features 5-petal flowers and leaves. The box has a charming half flower
for its handle. The box is 3 1/2 inches wide and 3 inches high. You will
find a pressed "Made in Czechoslovakia" and the Irice import
marks on its bottom.
The matching bottle stands 6 inches tall and is 3 inches wide. The stopper
has wonderfully detailed flowers on both sides - see picture below. The
bottle also has a pressed Irice mark on its bottom. Scroll down below

on any vanity!
The box is shown (in pink) in Jacquelyne Jones-North's book "Czechoslovakian
Perfume Bottles and Boudoir Accessories" on page 75, item #756. The
set (with a second bottle) is also seen in a 1936 advertisement on page
100.
