Vintage Czech amethyst mini-perfume bottle

This is a delightful amethyst/purple miniature perfume bottle sometimes called a "perfumette". It stands only 1 6/8 inches high and is 1 1 /4 inches wide. Its body has a round "window" with radiating lines and a purple squared prism top.

Never used, this bottle was kept in a box of bottles for decades. The photo may suggest it has dirt on it, but it is absolutely clean - the light was playing tricks when the photo was taken.

This bottle has the "Made in Czechoslovakia" mark on its bottom. You can see this bottle (in pink) in Verna Kocken's book, "Perfume Bottles for Purse and Dresser" on page 94. Listed price is $150-200 each.
