Vintage Czech purple deco perfume bottle with purple fan shaped stopper
This
lovely deco amethyst bottle features a cut, half moon body with diamonds and radiating lines and stepped sides. Its stopper matches perfectly. It is 3 3/4 inches high and 3 inches
wide. The second photo at left shows its gorgeous color in natural light.
The
bottle has an oval acid etch mark "Made in Czechoslovakia" on
its bottom. The stopper retains long glass dauber with round ball
tip. In excellent condition, the bottle has only minor fleabites (or roughness)
around the inside of its neck.
The bottle is well documented though difficult to find in purple. You can see it (blue top, clear body) in North's "Czechoslovakian Perfume Bottles and Boudoir Accessories" book, item #30.
