Vintage Czech purple deco bottle with purple stopper
This
is a very deco classic amethyst bottle that is 5 1/4 inches high and 2 1/2 inches wide. The body features swirling deco lines accented by zigzags on all four sides. The stopper has a slightly sloping front and back and has an intact dauber.
The
bottle has an oval acid etch mark "Made in Czechoslovakia" on
its bottom. In excellent condition, there are no chips, cracks or fleabites around its neck. There is one tiny bubble in its base near the bottom that occured during manufacturing.
The bottle and similar styles are well-documented, though it's not easy to find the purple version. You can see the purple body in North's "Czechoslovakian Perfume Bottles and Boudoir Accessories" in item #125.
